IAB Gold Standard Launches In Ireland

Building on GroupM Ireland’s long-standing focus on brand safety and inventory quality in Ireland, we are delighted to announce we have partnered with IAB Ireland to launch the IAB’s Gold Standard. GroupM and thirteen other IAB Ireland members have registered to become Gold Standard certified in Ireland.

The Gold Standard was developed by IAB UK and has been widely adopted by the UK digital ad industry. It is recognised as a powerful initiative which has evolved to keep pace with a fast-changing industry and continues to adapt to help drive a healthy, sustainable digital ad ecosystem.

The Gold Standard consists of four key pillars which require companies to implement rigorous criteria that:

  1. Reduces ad fraud
  2. Increases brand safety with TAG standards and certification
  3. Improves the digital advertising experiences for users and
  4. Creates greater cross-industry transparency around the use of consumers’ data.

Joining the Gold Standard in Ireland ensures Wavemaker is joined by our local industry partners in delivering a more ethical and sustainable advertising experience for consumers, with a cross-industry approach to brand safety and ad fraud.
