Wavemaker has been awarded ‘Media Agency of the Year’ at the prestigious Prolific North Awards. This win comes just six-months after Wavemaker – the newest media, content and technology agency – officially launched.
The annual event, which celebrates the North of England’s creative sector, is the largest creative industries awards evening outside of London, and sees upwards of 700 people attend.
On winning ‘Media Agency of the Year’ Managing Director, Emma Slater, Wavemaker Manchester says “It was an immensely proud moment last night to hear Wavemaker become Prolific North’s Media Agency of the Year. The team have worked hard to make the Wavemaker vision a reality for our clients and this award recognises the great start we have made.”
The esteemed judging panel continued “Wavemaker have had a year of distribution to the market, the agency rebranded and were ranked in the Sunday Times 100 best places to work list. Their media billings were up 14%, increased revenue per head in the business and obtained new client assignments including Mornflake, Hoover and Disneyland Paris.”
