Wavemaker Australia has been awarded the Q3 Attribution award in Google’s prestigious Honours program, while Wavemaker Search Director Jonathan Orchard has won the Q3 Automated Rockstar award.

Held every quarter, the Google Honours awards recognise the achievements of the very best Search and YouTube marketing agencies and providers across Australia and New Zealand, with 60 companies entering the competition in this, its second year.

The Attribution award recognises Wavemaker’s work connecting clients’ data to machine learning, allowing the agency to attribute activity in the most accurate way possible.

The Rockstar Award is awarded to the person who has demonstrated the best Google automation techniques in either Australia or New Zealand, and focuses on four key areas: attribution, audience, creative and budget.

Mark Lawson, Wavemaker National Head of Performance, said: “Following our success in winning Q2 Agency of the Year in the Google Honours awards, it’s great to be recognised once again for the attribution work we’re doing for clients. The win is testament to the Wavemaker team’s hard work in this area, while Jonathan’s Rockstar recognition is a well-deserved achievement.”

Wavemaker is part of GroupM, which is part of WPP AUNZ, Australasia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
