Wavemaker Wins Pernod Ricard China Media Business
Pernod Ricard China has appointed Wavemaker as its media agency of record, where the agency will handle media planning and buying as well as integrated e-commerce media strategy and content planning for the complete portfolio of iconic brands.

Since 1975, Pernod Ricard has built one of the most comprehensive portfolios of premium brands in the industry on an international scale. In China, it leads the way amongst international wine and spirits groups. Key brands such as Chivas Regal, Martell and Royal Salute were introduced into the country over two decades ago. Pernod Ricard China delivered an outstanding sales growth of 21%, making it a key contributor to the global sales of 9.182 billion euros (72.2 billion RMB), according its 2019 fiscal report released in Paris this August.
The win is the last of a series of successes for Wavemaker China that most recently added Huawei, China Mobile and UnionPay to their client portfolio.
