Wavemaker named Australia/New Zealand’s YouTube Agency of the Quarter by Google Honours

Wavemaker Australia has been awarded the Q2 YouTube Agency of the Quarter award in Google’s prestigious Honours program as well as winning the YouTube Solutions award for work carried out on Paramount.

The Google Honours awards recognise the achievements of the very best Search and YouTube marketing agencies and providers across Australia and New Zealand, with 57 partnering agencies and more than 330 individuals entering the competition in this, its second year.

Wavemaker, GroupM’s newest media, content and technology agency, was awarded the YouTube Honours Award for its successful work on Paramount’s A Quiet Place release.

By using YouTube Brand Lift studies to understand the impact of frequency on brand awareness and combining these learnings with YouTube reach planner to plan future activities at optimum frequency, the Wavemaker team achieved fantastic results.

To qualify, Search and Media marketing agencies were invited to enter the Awards and were measured against specific product metrics indicative of Search Excellence – metrics designed to deliver the best possible Search results for clients.

Wavemaker is part of GroupM, which is part of WPP AUNZ, Australasia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
