Wavemaker Australia talent shines on AdNews Emerging Leaders List & Power 50

Wavemaker Australia’s National Head of Strategy James Boardman and Director of Client & Communications Emelia McAdam were recognised among the AdNews Top 30 Emerging Leaders, announced today, while Wavemaker Australia & New Zealand CEO Peter Vogel was ranked in the Top 10 Media Agency CEOs.

The inaugural AdNews Emerging Leaders list received more than 100 entries and whittled down to 30 of the brightest and most promising talent in the industry. Wavemaker was one of only two companies with two future leaders on the list. The full list of Top 30 Emerging Leader can be found on AdNews.

James and Emelia are both valued members of Wavemaker Australia. James joined the agency (previously MEC) in 2014 after relocating from the UK, and progressed rapidly, working his way to leading the strategy team in just four years. He constantly puts himself in the firing line, trying new things, testing new approaches and volunteering to put himself out front – an undeniable sign of emerging leadership.

A leader both nationally and globally, Emelia has also progressed rapidly within the agency over the past five-plus years, with a reputation for being driven and consistent, and always among the first to participate in Wavemaker, GroupM and industry initiatives.

Peter Vogel’s returning appearance on the AdNews Top 10 Media Agency CEOs list is testament to his standing and influence in the industry as one of the most experienced media executives in the country and the CEO of the biggest media agency within the biggest media investment group in Australia.
