In this new role, Jeff will be responsible for Wavemaker China’s client leadership practice, providing senior counsel to Wavemaker clients in developing organizational change and transformation agendas. Jeff will also head up the 300-person Beijing office and as a senior member of the Wavemaker, the management team will help further develop the agency’s capability and value offer to clients.

Since inception in December 2017, Wavemaker (formerly MEC and Maxus) has seen spectacular growth in China. Wavemaker ranked the top agency for new business wins in 2018 (R3, January 2019), with more than 25 new clients in the areas of media, content, e-commerce, social and integrated marketing services.

Spanning 20 years of experience in brand marketing and communication, Jeff is a proven industry leader and digital pioneer. He has led agencies and help senior positions in automotive and technology industry brands. Before joining Wavemaker, Jeff was VP of JD Group and JD Finance GM of Marketing. He also held senior roles at BlueFocus Mobile, VML, BMW, Sina and Baidu. Through his experience, he has developed a deep business knowledge and unique understanding of what it takes to successfully counsel clients as they navigate the pace of change in the world’s most dynamic media market.
Jeff will be based in Beijing and report to Wavemaker China CEO & APAC President Gordan Domlija.
