Wavemaker appoints Alexia Pilavachi as L’Oréal Global Media Lead

Wavemaker today announced Alexia Pilavachi in the role of L’Oréal Global Media Lead. Reporting to Alex Altman, Global Client President, and Global Head of B2B, Pilavachi will be based in London and will lead the rest of the L’Oréal Global Media team based in Paris.

Pilavachi will be responsible for supporting the growing Wavemaker and GroupM L’Oréal relationship, driving digital transformation, connecting markets, and sharing and scaling best practice across the 30-market relationship.

Pilavachi joins from Initiative where she held the position of Managing Director, Rufus Amazon Prime Video Europe. During her time with the agency, Pilavachi led the European market, ensuring quality and governance of all output. She played a key role in developing processes to create greater standardisation across 20+ markets to drive success and growth for her client. In a career spanning over 20 years, Pilavachi has experience working across a range of sectors, specifically in entertainment, client and team management, development of positive culture and strategic communications planning. She has also held leadership roles at Mediacom and Starcom MediaVest Group.
