This has led to an incredible start to the year for our Wavemaker Content team, generating remarkable revenue growth and award-winning work. With that, I’m pleased to share that Valeria Mares joins Wavemaker this week as U.S Head of Content.
Valeria joins us from Wavemaker LATAM where she was Chief Strategy Officer, partnering with clients like Netflix, CHANEL and Colgate-Palmolive. With 16 years of experience in strategy and communications planning, Valeria has a proven track record leading content teams with strategic rigor. She launched consulting and content services for GroupM in Milan in 2013. Since then, she has led strategy teams in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and the LATAM region, with a multi-disciplinary approach, focused on content and digital innovation.
Valeria has been with GroupM/Wavemaker for the past 15 years. Thanks to GroupM Talent Mobility, she has experienced new opportunities and variety around our network and around the world. As a global citizen, Valeria had the opportunity to be part of exciting and innovative projects and experienced different cultures, mindsets, and backgrounds that deeply influenced her.
Adam Puchalsky will work alongside Valeria to push forward the agenda for U.S client work in addition to his continuing global responsibilities.
