With support from WPP, Ecolab Science Certified™ is launching its #TakeBackYourSocialLife campaign today with Magic Johnson, as part of a larger initiative to support the return of business across the food service and hospitality industries as vaccination rates increase and COVID-19 restrictions loosen across the U.S.
The multi-faceted content campaign, led by Wavemaker and executed via INCA’s brand-safe proprietary technology platform, launches across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The creative features sports legend Magic Johnson as well as the owner of an Ecolab Science Certified business – Porto’s Bakery – demonstrating to consumers how Ecolab Science Certified is helping them get back to the places they eat, stay, shop, and play.
Launched in the summer of 2020, Ecolab Science Certified is a comprehensive, science-based public health and food safety program that helps businesses reach a higher level of cleanliness and address new consumer expectations. As businesses reopen, Ecolab Science Certified is bringing the same scientific cleaning expertise used at hospitals to restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and sports arenas.
The Take Back Your Social Life campaign is 100% addressable, with different messaging activated in digital and social channels targeted at sports fans, hotel vacationers and frequent restaurant-goers. Along with Magic Johnson, Wavemaker, INCA and Hill & Knowlton developed a robust influencer marketing plan inviting nano and mid-tier influencers to take back their social lives this summer at various locations across the country that have earned the Ecolab Science Certified seal. National commercials produced by Grey, another WPP agency, also are helping to promote the Ecolab Science Certified program.
