Wavemaker Thailand appoints Christopher Orcutt as new Managing Director

Former MD, Rathakorn Surbsuk, joins GroupM Nexus as Head of Finecast in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

After more than three years leading Wavemaker Thailand, Rathakorn Surbsuk will be crossing over within the GroupM network to assume the role of Head of Finecast – GroupM Nexus’ addressable TV solution – overseeing operations in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Effective immediately, Christopher Orcutt has been named the new Managing Director of Wavemaker Thailand. Previously the Head of Strategy at Wavemaker Thailand and part of the market’s senior management team, Christopher was responsible for leading the local team in strategic and planning practices since early 2021 – harnessing the agency’s Provocative Planning approach to create new growth opportunities across Wavemaker’s portfolio in Thailand such as L’Oréal, Colgate-Palmolive, Huawei along with other local accounts.

In his new role, Christopher will focus on driving agency growth, working closely with local, regional and global teams to continue delivering and expanding best-in-class services to a broad spectrum of leading international and local brands.
