Wavemaker appoints Camilo Salah as Managing Director of Colombia & Peru

WPP’s global media agency Wavemaker announced this Monday that Camilo Salah has been appointed to the role of Managing Director of Colombia and Peru.

Camilo has more than 12 years of experience in various WPP companies such as Wunderman, Y&R and MEC and in the last years, he worked closely on the transformation of Wavemaker first as the Digital & Data Operations Director and most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Colombia. The professional, with experience in communications, marketing, and advertising, graduate from Isituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy, and Master (MSc.) In Marketing Management from Kingston Business School in London, England. He’s considered a specialist in content and technology at the service of media distribution. With extensive experience working with clients such as Microsoft, Colgate-Palmolive, Netflix, Nokia, Chevron Texaco, Warner Bros., Toyota and Rappi, he has also been a judge of the Effie Awards in its LATAM version and Cannes Young Lions.

Camilo assumes this position after 7 years in the GroupM agency, contributing to various successes for Wavemaker, and supporting the position of the company as the one with the most new business acquisitions during 2020. (According to COMvercenge LATAM new business barometer)
