Wavemaker welcomes Darko Lin, Head of Audience Planning, Asia-Pacific

In this newly created role, Darko will be a champion of, and key member of the Wavemaker product team, leading our Asia-Pacific audience planning practice within Wavemaker’s way of working – Provocative Planning. He will also be pivotal in driving our client’s business transformation by bringing together innovation, creativity, data & tech to positively provoke growth.

He reports to Charlotte (Charlie) Wright, Chief Growth Officer, Asia-Pacific. Charlie leads new business for Wavemaker APAC, currently ranked #2 agency (Source: COMvergence Media Agencies Billings, Rankings & Market Shares, 2021 edition), as a part of the global strategy & product development team, driving Provocative Planning across APAC.

About Darko Lin

With over 17 years of work experience in China and Southeast Asia and solid expertise in data-powered media strategy, branding and integrated marketing communications, he brings to the table the combination of learnings from various types of agency businesses and China tech platforms.

Darko was previously Senior Vice President, Regional Marketing in Lazada, where he led the branding arm of the regional marketing team, including brand, market intelligence, and creative. He has harnessed his media & brand planning skills during his time in media strategist and brand leader roles in companies including Alibaba Group, Edelman, Mediacom.
