Challenge

Sri Lanka’s leading sanitary napkin brand ‘Eva’ has been in existence for many years, providing consumers with better and improved products. Eva, “leading with confidence” lives to its purpose by boosting the confidence of women throughout their journey.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, Eva wanted to salute womanhood &  recognize their contribution to society, beyond the scope of a typical campaign. The challenge was to instigate a concept which would provoke positive conversations in society.

Insight+Strategy

The reality is that majority of the Sri Lankan females are unaware of their potential & impact simply because many of them are not acknowledged or recognized.

Riding on this insight Eva took on the challenge to raise self-empowerment among women and inspire them to unlock their potential in any form be it a skill, personality, accepting themselves for who they are.

Activation

Eva organized a social experiment where women were asked to tell the interviewer the ‘strongest woman they know of’, a rather typical question. Bringing in a twist, the interviewer then acknowledged knowing a stronger woman showing an image of themselves. In the end, all participants agreed with the statement & realized they deserve to be appreciated.

The gist of it was captured in an emotional film & amplified on digital media stimulating positive conversations in the society & elevating the calibre of women.

Results

With 82% of the total female digital audience on Sri Lanka reached, the campaign provoked positive conversations in society.
